Home/Industries/Pool service

Weekly routes stay full. Build leads hear back tonight.

Pool companies run on two clocks: the weekly route that pays the bills and the build pipeline that makes the year. We build AI into Skimmer, your phones and your inbox so opening-season calls get answered, gunite and fiberglass quotes get followed for weeks, and route customers hear from you before they start wondering why the water looks cloudy.

Free video call. Nothing gets quoted unless it can return 300% in the first year.

Where a pool company loses money between visits

Opening-season calls hit voicemail

In March and April the phone rings with openings, green-to-clean jobs and new homeowners shopping for weekly service. Your techs are out on the route, the office is buried, and a caller who waits until tomorrow has usually signed with whoever texted back first.

Build quotes that go quiet

A new in-ground pool is one of the largest purchases a family makes after the house itself, and they sit on it for weeks. After the design meeting and the 3D rendering, most builders send one email and wait. Families comparing three builders tend to choose the one who stayed in touch.

Repair work left in the service log

Techs spot the leaking multiport valve, the failing pump seal and the heater that will not fire. It goes into the service notes, nobody turns it into a priced proposal, and the homeowner finds out when the equipment quits in July and calls someone else.

Accounts that cancel without a word

Weekly customers rarely complain before they leave. They notice a missed stop after a storm, a cloudy Monday, an invoice that went up with no explanation. By the time the cancellation email lands, the chance to fix it is gone, and so is a year of recurring revenue.

$12,600a year in new weekly route revenue
  • Example: 6 more weekly accounts won by answering spring inquiries first
  • $175 a month per account
  • 12 months of service

This is an example with round inputs, and on the free call we run it with your real inquiry volume, route pricing and close rate.

Two ways AI pays for Pool service and construction companies. We build both.

Grow revenue

Speed to Lead

Answer every opening-season inquiry

When a new homeowner fills out your form at 9 PM, AI replies in seconds, asks about pool type, size, sanitizer and any equipment trouble, then prices weekly service from your rate sheet and offers a start day that fits an existing route. You wake up to booked stops instead of a stack of callbacks to return between visits.

Quote Follow-Up

Keep build prospects close for weeks

Build buyers need time and a reason to choose you. After the design meeting, AI sends a steady run of useful messages: financing questions answered, a note on permit lead times, photos of a similar finished backyard, a reminder before your fall dig slots fill. Your designer sees who replied and calls the warm ones first.

Customer Documentation

Visit reports that sell the repair

AI turns each tech's readings, photos and notes into a clean visit summary for the homeowner, with any flagged equipment written up as a plain-language repair option and a price from your book. Customers see the cracked lid or the tired pump on the day it was found, while approving the fix still feels like their own idea.

Grow margins

Customer Service Assistant

Handle the did-you-come-today texts

Homeowners text to ask whether the tech came, why the water looks hazy or when the heater part arrives. AI reads the route and service history in Skimmer and answers with the visit time, the latest chemical readings and the next step, so your office manager stops digging through logs to answer routine questions all afternoon.

Back-Office Automation

Close out billing without retyping

Chemical surcharges, extra visits after a storm, filter cleans and repair parts often get keyed by hand at month end. AI matches what the techs logged against each account, drafts the invoices, flags anything unusual for review and pushes clean entries to QuickBooks, so month-end billing takes an afternoon instead of the better part of a week.

SOP and Process System

Train new techs before the rush

Every spring you hire, and every spring the same mistakes cost you: wrong dosing, skipped brushing, a gate left unlatched. We turn your water chemistry standards, equipment quirks and customer rules into a searchable playbook new techs can ask from the truck, so quality holds on the route while your best tech keeps driving it.

Built for a business that runs on routes

The route comes first

Your business is a weekly route with seasonal spikes layered on top. We design every system to protect recurring accounts first, then capture the extra work that openings, closings, storms and repairs bring, so growth never comes at the expense of the customers already paying you every month.

Service and builds in one plan

Many pool companies run a service side and a construction side with different buyers and very different sales cycles. We plan for both: fast replies for service, patient follow-up for builds, and a handoff so a route customer who mentions a renovation reaches your designer instead of getting lost.

Returns you can count

Nothing gets proposed unless it can return 300% in the first year. For a pool company that usually means counting new route accounts, repair proposals approved and office hours saved, with a fixed price and scope in writing before anything is built.

How the pool year swings in the Carolinas

Openings start in March and peak by May, when the phone, the build pipeline and new account requests all hit at once. Summer is steady route work with storm cleanups and equipment failures in the heat. Closings and winterizing fill September and October, then service goes quiet while builders keep digging and pouring. Speed to Lead carries the spring surge, the Customer Service Assistant takes summer questions, and Quote Follow-Up works the winter build pipeline while families plan next year's backyard.

Inside the software you already run.

Around the Carolinas, pool companies tend to run Skimmer, Pool Brain or Jobber for routes and service logs, Pool Studio for build design and QuickBooks for the books, and we build inside those.

Every system lives in your own accounts. We never host or store your customer data.

Where we usually start.

Most pool companies leave the most money at the two ends of the sales cycle: the spring service inquiry that waits too long and the build prospect who drifts after one email. These two systems cover both, share the same inbox and price sheet, and fit neatly into one Operating Build.

2systems in one Operating Build

Planned together, priced together, fixed in writing.

Find out what you're leaving on the table.

Twenty minutes. We trace how a lead and the work move through your business and show you where the money leaks. No slides. No pitch.

  • You walk us through how leads come in and who handles them.
  • We name the one or two leaks costing you the most.
  • If a build makes sense, you get a fixed quote in writing. If not, you leave with the advice anyway.

Free video call. No pitch. We reply with times to talk.

Pool service owners ask.

We run everything in Skimmer. Will this connect?

Usually, yes. We start by checking what your Skimmer setup allows to be connected, then build around it, using its notifications and exports along with your existing email and text tools where a direct connection is limited. Everything runs in your own accounts, and we never store your customer list on our side.

Can AI quote a pool build?

Not a full build. A build needs a site visit, a design and your estimator's judgment on soil, access and grade. What AI does well is answer the early questions, collect yard photos, a budget range and timeline, book the design meeting, and keep following up afterward so the prospect stays with you through a long decision.

Will homeowners know they are texting with AI?

We decide that with you. Most pool companies have it answer as the office, plainly, and hand off to a person for anything with a judgment call, like a warranty claim or a complaint about a tech. Homeowners mostly care that they got a real answer about their pool quickly.

What happens in the slow winter months?

Winter is when the build pipeline matters most, so we tune Quote Follow-Up and an Executive Dashboard to work hardest then. Service systems keep handling the lighter load of equipment calls and opening reservations for spring, so March starts with a booked calendar instead of an empty one.

Can it answer chemical and equipment questions?

Yes, within limits you approve. It can explain readings from the last visit, describe what a shock treatment does or say when a backordered part is expected. Anything involving a safety concern, a leak diagnosis or a warranty decision goes straight to your team with the details already collected.

What does it cost?

Builds start at $5,000, with the price, scope and timeline fixed in writing before work begins. Most pool companies start with one or two systems. Our price guide has the ranges for each, and the free call shows which one should pay back fastest on your route.
